Our latest understanding of the scientific insights and worldview of the ancient Maya are now more accessible than ever through our ability to decode ancient inscriptions and mythological art. Maya science and cosmology was based on the patterns of the natural world and what we call naked-eye astronomy, but it was also holistic in linking to many other realms of knowledge and experience. It expressed also a structural model of human and even universal existence.
